Melt Flow Index Tester for Thermoplastics

The Melt Flow Index Tester (MM-MFI-450D) is a cost-effective tabletop instrument designed to test the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastic materials such as granules and film strips. This tester is ideal for quality control in manufacturing and research, particularly when comparing filled and unfilled thermoplastics. It accurately measures MFR from MVR data when the melt density is known at the test temperature and pressure.

Features

High Accuracy: Temperature control within ±0.5℃, with a microprocessor ensuring precise results.
Ease of Use: Features a 7” touchscreen interface with an automatic scraper mechanism for precise interval cuts.
Efficient Testing: Can test MFR and MVR, calculate melt density, and store test results with quick recovery time after temperature changes.
Complete Setup: Comes with all necessary accessories for immediate operation, including a piston rod, die, and weights.
